New rankings – Top 100 prospects in baseball
Our new rankings of the top 100 baseball prospects are now finished. One big problem for prospects in the sport is that the 2020 MiLB season has been canceled and many players could lose one year of development. With only 60 games played in the regular season at the MLB level, less prospects will be an impact of the 2020 fantasy baseball season.
In our list we have Wander Franco, SS, Tampa Bay Rays at number one. Who hasn’t him as the best prospect in baseball? It will be very interesting to see when the Rays bring him up, but don’t count on it for 2020. He is a great pickup if you play in a dynasty format, and if you are doing a rebuild, he will be a player to target.
However, in our top 10 prospects we find several players who will be a force already in 2020. They will not be cheap to draft, and it will be a bit risky. Potentially they could also be league winners so play it smart at your fantasy drafts.
Names like Luis Robert, Chicago White Sox, Jo Adell, Los Angeles Angels, Gavin Lux, Los Angeles Dodgers, MacKenzie Gore, San Diego Padres and Jesus Luzardo, Oakland Atheltics, will all be very interesting to watch this season.
